More About Us

Licence No : 20/01155/ANEST

We have been a family run business for the last 30 years, building up a loyal customer base and pride ourselves on trying to make your cats stay as stress free as possible.

We have pens for single, doubles and families of cats, which can accommodate up to five cats. Each pen has its own bedroom compartment and individual run, which is fully roofed. Cats have access to both of these at all times so can switch between the two as they wish. All pens are fully secured.

The main building is also fully secure with a separate roof and is accessed by a double door. All bedrooms have individual thermostatic controlled heaters.

We welcome viewing by appointment if you wish to come and visit us first before making a booking.

Only fully vaccinated cats are able to board with us. Vaccination cards must be produced on arrival and left with us for the duration of your cats stay.

All cats must be neutered, unless under 6 months of age.

Please make sure your pets are up to date with flea and worm treatment, as recommended by your vet.

We are open all year round for boarding but do not open for leaving or collecting cats on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day.

Please bear in mind that early booking is essential for busy periods such as Bank Holidays, School Holidays, Christmas and Easter.

Upon arrival, you will be asked to fill in a short booking form with:

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My cat has never been in a cattery before, how will he cope with being in a confined space?A: Cats adapt to their surroundings, and as long as they have a comfy bed, and good food with plenty of enrichment they are perfectly happy. In the 31 years that we have been running, we have never had a cat fret while he/she has been with us.

Q: What do I need to bring with me?

A: All you need to bring is your cat and an up-to-date vaccination record. Bedding, bowls, litter trays, food and toys are provided but you are welcome to bring your cats favourite toy and blanket if you wish.

A: If your cat has been prescribed a specialist diet by your vet, you will need to bring adequate supply with you. We can administer any tablet and are able to give diabetic cats their insulin injections, again please bring an adequate supply and details of doses and times for when the medication is to be given. Please bring medication in the boxes provided by the vet with the instructions clearly visible. You will be required to sign a Medical authorisation form allowing us to administer medications. If at any time there is a risk of injury to cattery staff then vet advice will be sought at owners cost. The cattery reserves the right to refuse admission of any cat deemed unfit for boarding.
